Your questions. Our answers.
Frequently asked questions about care at home.
How can bedbound people be washed without a shower?
Waterless wash mitts enable body cleansing directly in bed, without providing a washbasin or additional water.
How can hair be washed without water directly in bed?
A shampoo cap is designed for hair care without additional water and without rinsing. It is placed on the head and gently massaged in according to the packaging instructions. This allows hair care to take place at the bedside when the person can be positioned appropriately and comfortably.
How can I wash myself after surgery if I am not allowed to shower?
If showering is temporarily not permitted, waterless body care can be an option for cleansing intact skin outside the surgical area. Clarify the application with your treatment team beforehand and follow the discharge and wound care instructions. Surgical wounds, fresh sutures, drains, and dressings must not be cleansed or moistened with the care products.
Can I clean my hair without a shower after surgery?
A shampoo cap requires no additional water and does not need to be rinsed. Especially after orthopedic procedures, for example due to a broken leg, the Easy2Shower Shampoo Cap is a practical alternative to a shower.
What can I do if my bathroom is not barrier-free?
A high shower edge, a bathtub, or narrow access can make body care difficult. Waterless care enables cleansing in a suitable place outside the bathroom, for example while sitting or at the bedside.
What do I need for body and hair care at home?
Wash mitts are designed for body cleansing, shampoo caps for hair care, and body care wipes for body care. A pack of Easy2Shower Wash Mitts contains 10 wash mitts. In the shop you will find individual products, sets, and value packs. The quantity depends on personal care needs and frequency of use.
Please follow the application instructions on the respective packaging.
